On the subject of Miley’s more blunt reactions to paparazzi as of late: on one hand I agree with her. They are low lives that make money of off others’ hard work and it’s sickening.

On the other hand, it is unfortunately one of the things that comes with fame. People are interested in what’s she’s doing and who she is with and what she is wearing on a day-to-day basis. And most celebrities haven’t had a major problem with paparazzi because as the saying goes “Any press is good press”.

But I do wish things would change. I wish it was so that she could simply pose for like 10 seconds and then they’d leave her alone. So that it was less of a “Let’s follow her around until she does something that people can interpret in a million different ways!”  In reality, no one cares about the individual person who is taking the picture. The paparazzi is replaceable to us and to the magazines and blogs that buy the pictures. I wish they’d realize that they’re the ones in the wrong, and that they should treat the celebrity they’re following with respect.
